“………the ethnic theme has always inspired me and been one of the main subjects of my work. I feel very happy to celebrate cultural diversity in my paintings and hope that the viewers will experience the same joy as I did creating them.”

Anna Kostenko was born in 1975 in Kiev, Ukraine and has lived and worked in Krakow, Poland since 1991. She is a graduate of The Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow where she studied painting from 1993 to 1998. She has had three solo exhibitions at Jorgensen Fine art and has built up a strong following since first showing here in 1999. Her fascination with different cultures has led to extensive travels which inspire her work, which has been shown in many countries including Poland, France, Germany, Ireland and Spain.
