INTERIORS EXHIBITIONFebruary 7th - 25th 2006

The art of the Interior from turn of the century Dutch & French painters to contemporary. The human world is the subject of the interior; it is a construction of man. Domestic in its concerns, the interior represents the pleasures of familial ties and the pleasures of possessions. Our gallery artists continue the tradition of presenting that frozen moment for the viewers' attention and consideration.

ROY PETLEYApril 7th - 28th 2006

This exhibition marks Roy Petley’s fifth showing at Jorgensen Fine Art. Since being discovered as a young artist by the Duchess of Kent, Roy’s following has grown worldwide. The esteemed art critic Brian Sewell says of his work : ‘Petley is a painter whose interests lie in light, shade and colour, in the tactile quality of paint itself – impasto like refrigerated butter, flowing like melted ice cream, transparent, translucent or opaque as the occasion demands.’

| There is an immediacy and an effervescence about James O’Halloran’s landscapes and interiors which speaks of his immense enjoyment in its execution. He composes straight onto the canvas in a bold and decisive manner. He captures for us just that particular moment in time with its own particular ambiance. This will be James' second solo exhibition at Jorgensen Fine Art.
