A Marseille faience tureen and cover, circa 1760 of shaped oval form moulded with scroll feet and shell handles, the cover similarly moulded with rocailles and an entwined branch handle with nuts and buds, painted with flower sprigs, the handles and moulded scrolls heightened in enamels, the rim of the cover with a purple feathered border.
