| Minnie Townley was born into an artistic family in Birmingham, both of her sisters were also painters. She is mostly known for her English landscapes and still lifes, usually depicting flowers. During her career she exhibited four works at the Royal Academy including "Hollyhocks" and "On the Scheldt". |
