| John Aldridge was a landscape painter, designer, and illustrator who exhibited between 1931 and 1940. He lived for most of his life in Essex, although he travelled widely in Europe. During his career he mostly exhibited with the Leicester Gallery and had a total of one hundred and nineteen works accepted for exhibition there. Other galleries that exhibited his work include the Lefevre Gallery and the Redfern Gallery. |
