Ken Moroney is a self taught English  landscape artist, of Anglo Irish heritage, born in London in 1949 who is known for his evocative still life paintings and plein air impressionistic landscape paintings, executed with his distinctive vigourous brushstrokes. He favours romantic themes in his paintings, which often depict idyllic Edwardian scenes, and evoke nostalgia for a bygone era. As an artist, his paintings have been exhibited with the Beaux-Arts Gallery in Paris, the Kline Gallery in Canada and at the Royal Academy annual exhibitions in London.
