Michael Keane is a self-taught sculptor from Dublin, Ireland who specialises in figurative bronze sculpture. He has exhibited extensively throughout Ireland and England and has also received numerous public and private commissions. One of his best known public commissions in Dublin is a series of relief panels that he completed on the theme of Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift, which is now housed next to St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, where Jonathan Swift was Dean. Other notable commissioned pieces include portrait sculptures of Irish musicians, such as Luke Kelly from the Dubliner's and the composer and musician, Ronan O'Snodaigh, from contemporary Irish folk band, Kila.
